What Is Diaper Need?

Diaper need is the lack of a sufficient supply of diapers to keep a baby clean, dry, and healthy.

Sadly, 1 in 2 families in America struggles to afford diapers for their children. The Coalition of Diaper Banks is working together to share our experience and knowledge for the greater good: Eliminating diaper need in the state of Ohio.

The Ohio Coalition of Diaper Banks is a collective of nonprofit diaper banks working together so that all families in our state have the diapers they need to live happy, healthy, and dignified lives. 

The Ohio Coalition of Diaper Banks:

  • Provides diapers to families experiencing diaper need. 
  • Advocated for policies and laws that help families and individuals afford basic needs items. 
  • Collaborate to raise awareness about diaper need and what it means to live without basic needs items.
  • Shares best practices, policies, and procedures with each other to help strengthen our individual diaper banks.
